just a quicky - i`m bidding on some flooring on the dreaded e-bay, i`ve calced it up @ 32m² x0.015 (15mm thick) x 2100 (approx density)
...giving me just over a ton!
will the disco take this? :-.
are the 200tdi alloys, and commercial tyres up to this? brakes?
i may be able to blag help from a friend to spread the weight a bit, but need to know how much i can handle first. :-k
...and no, i`m not allowed a trailer on my lisence so unfortunatley thats not an option. [-X
Cheers

Someone will be along with the exact numbers but no, the Disco is MAM 2,700kg ish, and 2100kg ish kerb weight, so 600kg payload if you are lucky.
You are however allowed a trailer up to 750kg mam, so between the 2 of you and a trailer you should be ok

Get a local carrier to pick it up and drop it off at your house (tail lift and pallet truck)
Average price is 45-50 quid next day up to 1200kg lot less messing about.
ps. don't use tnt it'll cost 5 times that amount, A quick ring round should find the cheapest I use APC for most stuff on pallets.

a ton over the back axle and the rear seat , i wouldnt like that to be honest, i tried it with some paving slabs, go with the overnight pallet service. or man with van who charges 50p a mile,
