Title: Defender 90 Lean
Post by: mikesrangie on April 12, 2008, 20:22:14
I have a 1985 90 that has had a two inch lift put on it.  I have noticed a lean to the drivers side and it is starting to bug me.  I have looked underneath and can not see any reason for the lean.  So with that said I would like to ask for advice on what it could be.  Thanks Mike

Most coil sprung LR products are not balanced side to side and often have differen springs side to side as a result.  Lift kits tend not to have handed springs.

Also a LR that starts to lean will get creep in the radius arm bushes which then holds the lean even whenthe cause is removed 9the diver gets out).
Also the torque reaction of the drivtrain exacerbates the lean, as does parking on a hill.
