Ohh pooo
I called at a friends on Friday evening. He used to use his old disco on a farm for shooting. Due to unforeseen circumstances he has given up shooting so his Disco was on the farm and he had to get rid! So he says “…..and I am taking the Land Rover to the scrap yard on Monday – I hope they will give me £200 for it†– and I reply “I will give you £200 for it†– and that was it – deal done!
So that’s my third one I have now! The 3.9, 1991 Range Rover, the 3.5, 1972 Range Rover and my new (all be it getting old) 1991 Disco 200Tdi.
I want to use the Disco for a bit of off roading as I don’t want to knacker the Rangie (as it will be when the project is complete – but time is hard to find at the moment).
So their you have it – or rather I have it! – I own three Land Rovers!!!!!

3, is that all 8-[

3, is that all 8-[
My feelings exactly....... I think we have 5 but there may be more hiding somewhere :D
-
I just bought another rangie on ebay 2 weeks ago for the princely sum of £112.99 !
Don't think it's possible to have only one  - although we only have 4 at the moment, must try harder
-
Three sounds like borderline additction, perhaps its not too late You can be saved, for the other, all we can do is pray.................
-
Only one on the road mind - and that needs an MOT next week (or is it this week?).
£112.99 beats my £200. The disco has done 168k miles but has been serviced regular until 3 years ago when it was taken off the road. I believe it needs quite a lot of welding but as its going to be for off road use so I wont go over the top.
I saw the Disco at the farm. It had not been run for six weeks but it started first turn of the key. It has five alloys but it needs a good clean inside with a some of the trim re fitting. Overall I am quite pleased.

yep,,,i seem to be slacking at the moment i only got 2 disco's and me rangie ...oh and enough spares to run a market stall for many weeks lol.
-
What was that line, you know you own a Land Rover because.......
...your spares dept. is in the back garden up on bricks
-
we have two now, i keep bidding on the 99p ebay ones hoping
-
I can't claim prizes for most Land Rovers, but at one point I was up to 11 cars...... I liked buying them, but just hated selling them  It gets a bit difficult to maintain them all though. Some ended up being broken for spares. Motley assortment of 'classics' like Rover P6, SD1's, Triumph 2000, Hillman Minx, MGB's all at the same time! Down to the LR90, Freelander, Mercedes 190E and MG Midget now.
-
Have one at the moment, but have my eye on another in the development stage! Have even started saving for it, although I have never seen it in the flesh (or even a picture!).
-
I own approximatly 4.2 land rover vehicles... but atm only one complete one (and two whole ones in bits) and there still sorned
-
:lol:I have 4 two on the road and two "resting", on the road 110 and old white rangie, "resting" Project 90 for a rebuild still collecting all the bits, then another Rangie needing a gearbox change, if all goes to plan that might get done this weekend, but daughter has claimed that one already !
Not like my Doctor now he is greedy, a 57 plate 90 for road use, and 4 Series one's  :roll:2 80 inch, a 107 SW and now a 107 pick up
