Title: rear parcel shelf
Post by: mentalmoshio sophs V8i on April 19, 2008, 09:36:03
i currently have a roller blind which has seen better days , i quite like the look of the solid parcel shelves from mm4x4 but unlike the 95 quid price.

is it possible to make one instead from ply or some something . plan is to fit amps and speakers to kit and more loading space above boot

I made a ridgid parcel shelf for my old RRC, I used 20mm thick mdf and painted it to match the interior

A bit of DIY and anything is poissible, just watch the dust with MDF as it's carcinogenic

But a bit of stiff MDF/Plywood will give you a nice bass sound.
