The one I went to see was John, his greatest fault is being a native of Scunthorpe of all places :wink: :roll:
But in his dim & distant past he was as a Field Service Engineer for Galion, a construction machinery manufacturer, his 'patch' was Africa (has he got some tales to tell :lol: :lol: )

No but seriously, it was nothing much, no more money :( , or promotion (or better still a job somewhere else)

It was simply to tell me I've got 20 days holidays & lieu-days to take before the end of March. Boy, did it make me happy for the rest of the day 8)

Just had to share that good news with you :lol:

I've got 40 days holiday to take this year (plus bank holidays, 8 i think so a grand total of 48)

......... now what shall I do with two months off ?

Forgot to say it's all paid holiday as well

:shock: 40 days - I'm in the wrong job :( ah well - only about 20 years till early retirement :roll:

no holiday pay, no sick pay, no company pension, have to deal with Inland Revenue and Customs & Excise, ... :wink:
