Doesn't get any cheaper as they get older either, I've one at Uni and two at College, and the youngest has just been selected to play for Shropshire County Colts Under-19s (Rugby), so the away matches at Club level, which could be anything up to a 200 mile jaunt on a Sunday, are now going to get further away and probably held on a mid-week evening, and the home matches could be up to a 40 mile round trip.
If he gets selected for North Midlands (fingers crossed), it'll be jaunts to play Northumberland, Cumbria, and County Durham, but lets not tempt fate just yet.
He's also been invited to train with the EDRU (has a hearing loss), so may end up playing in the Four Nations.
I should consider swapping the Land Rover (I won't!), as I'm going to be spending a lot more time on motorways in the future.

I've got a 12 year old son too. But he's great with a spanner.... in the bit where he had to write on his last school report he put 'I like building things and getting my hands dirty!'. I can't imagine where he gets it from
