Title: I may need a trailer
Post by: ne jones on April 24, 2008, 22:29:26
In my search for a little motor for greenlaning i've fpound a vitara thats got tax but no mot.
If i commit to buy it then i will need a trailer to fetch it on.
Does anyone in the west midlands have a trailer that i could borrow for a day?

Thanks Nathan

i believe you are allowed to drive it to and from an MOT station where the vehicle is booked in for test.... although i`m not sure if the other end has to be home or where the work is to be carried out....
could you not take a tow bar and a friend?

Within a reasonable distance

Nothing in law that says that though. I drove my 110 from Torquay to Hull 350 odd miles to a prebooked MOT.
