What do I have to do to take my dead vitara (RIP) to be weighed in?
Any advice appreciated

think it depends
place by me its the tyres and the battery i know of other places that you have to drain the fluids....all of them
-
EMR in kettering ask for the Tyres and Battery off and you need the log book so they can supply a certificate of destruction
-
we weighed 2 cars in last year - both were driven in...the 1st had the engine ripped out while it was still running....they are very accurate with those grabs!

Local place near me just accepts the cars as they stand. If you dont have the logbook then some form of ID is needed.

its tyres and battery off here too. i think they tried to charge 1.50 per tyre if you left them on.

Im surprised they wont take the batteries. Theres a market for scrap batteries. Guy comes round to my work and pays us 50p a battery to take them away.

they ask for them to be disconected and you can weigh them in seperate, and they charge £5 a tyre

Tyres and battery arent a problem... Log book could be though!!!
Thanks for all the replies
