No.. the servers are powered by electricity..  which is supplied by a "green" energy company, and we are also part of a carbon-offsetting scheme.

The debate as to whether this will make a difference to the impact of human activity on the planet is still very much open...   but it makes us feel warm and fuzzy inside in the meantime ;)

True...  but just imagine the methane emissions... and the Co2 from the production of the food you'd have to give them...

You know... I'm starting to sound like a deranged environmentalist already...   it must be working !

Can we try to plant them in an oval shape?

What annoys me particularly at the moment is how any attempt by a company to be more eco-friendly just gets rubbished as "greenwash". They must wonder why they bother really considering the gratitude the people they're doing it for exhibit.

Hmmm, Power companies are required by law to provide a percentage of their energy from renewable sources anyway - so be careful about taking up so called green tarrifs - they could be a rip off.
