I'd been out on the bike this afternoon for a while.
At the bottom of the last hill before home, there's a bridge over the River Calder, then one over the Aire & Calder Navigation Canal
The 'A&CN' bridge is now single-track & has traffic-lights.
As I approached it & was slowing down, a Range Rover came past - a real one!, not the crummy Sport!
The light changed to green, it pulled away. What an awesome noise they make!!!!!!!!!!! :clap: :clap:
That was the first time I've heard one.
Wowee!!!!!, it's almost as good as a TVR, or a 'big-block' Yank

I agree i got over taken by one in poole today while i was driving the wifes covered roller skate :oops:

oh, about time.
No offense Thrasher, but this is the engine meant for this vehicle. (and that comes from someone who thinks the heavy fuel is just wrong, and a v8 should stop at the green pump).
