Title: MOT Failed

Hi all,  :laugh:

Just failed RRC 3.5 Efi LPG on 3" crack at base of windscreen  :cry: :cry: also emissions is 5.25  :shock: should be 3.25   :doh:

So, anyone got a windscreen for sale, and anyone know how to get the emissions put right?  :-k

You need to go to a better MOT station...mine will adjust the CO2 level whilst they test it :dance:
You need to unscrew the adjuster on the airmass meter to get the correct level....too lean and the gases will be too hot.  Best suggestion would be to fit the windscreen (easy enough to do by removing the centre strip, push out the glass and reverse process to fit the new one.  Parachute cord helps lift the rubber over the glass.  If non available it can be done using thin blut objects to lift the rubber) and ask the mot tester if he would tweek the mixture when he does the re-test..

Mine doesnt even test it  :dance: :dance: :dance: cos it is LPG

Also got a screen with mirror attatched but a long way fom you also got a gunsons gas tester for diy pre mot / using too much juice  ;) was a £5 bargain from car boot  :-$

Got a windscreen being fitted tueday  :cool:

It was on gas when tested, but now gonna re-test on petrol so the mot station can adjust to go through  8-[  get a year's ticket on then I can start drowning it again  :cheesy:
