it's becoming apparent that finally I could be needing a new motor. my mot is due in august and to be honest a pass is doubtful to say the least. :'(
it will have to be up to lanes, rocks, woods, bogs and commuting.
so after much deliberating the choice has come to either a grand vitara or a oneten.
gv
will have to be lwb 107td they do 40+mpg, the wife likes them and with a lift they will take 31" tyres. will be a newer car so may need less non routine maintenance. will be good for the commuting and most lanes.
oneten
will have to be hard top with 2" lift and 35'' tyres. whilst not as economical it will go mostly anywhere I ask it to, with a bit of thoughtful planning it will double as accommodation as well as transport. will be an older car but can be kept going easier and for less cash.
so what would be the better choice?

110 for all the reasons outlined and because if the J**p does break it will cost a fortune to repair.

ditto

I agree jap car's are very expensive to repair, hence why i sold my vit..
Cheers Gav

i may have a 110 that will fit your bill ;)

Maybe they are expensive, but they don't break as much as landies....
-
Buy either Nissan or Toyota as they rarely break
Go on you know you want to :D

Mate has a cherokee and it just costs her a fortune to fix and it and she's always breaking it But then she does a lot of quarry bashing in it.
