i dont use the rear dickie seats anymore and was thinking of replaceing with side pocket bits instead. anyone know where some cheap ones are :-k
-
Good luck finding those
I've been looking for a while now
I'm going to make some instead of trying to find them now
:D

You could always make something a little different to fit in the hole - how about a lockable, removable cubby box that hinges out like the seats do then lifts out? I don't know of a commercial product but it wouldn't be that hard to make one.

Most people seem to be trying to go the other way, so I'd try to find somebody else and swap.

I've removed my seats a while back, currently got some plastic crates bungied to the sides with tools in. My plan is to turn them into storage bins, maybe hinged, not sure yet if its necessary.
One side needs to have my inverter and a couple of 12v outlets mounted there. I'm gonna make them out of plywood first and see if I like them in use, if they're good, I'll re-make them with ally tread plate to match the rear door card.

Don't make the mistake I came across. Called out to a nicely kitted out Dico with no n/s rear lights. We had to take a lot of lockers out to get to the lights. And it was only the plug come off the inside of the light cluster.

i do believe that http://www.mobilestoragesystems.fsnet.co.uk/index.html (http://www.mobilestoragesystems.fsnet.co.uk/index.html) are making storage boxes for disco 1's now.
had a brochure through the door the other day stating they were getting them in soon.
no price for them unfortunately.
I've been looking for some myself as well, like rocking horse poo to find

The standard disco items are rubbish - specially if you're using the truck for any kind of work or off-road. Try making some plywood cut to shape and held in with mild steel straps. Pic attached.

Really good pockets sirloin, where do you get your steel from? I'm always at a loss when it comes to sourcing bits of metal.

I work in a school, so there's always plenty of waste bits of metal and wood about. B&Q stock metal, but its at rip-off prices.
