Title: i think my land rover is ill, oil leak on the clutch pedal

have lately noticed a oil leak underneath the clutch pedal, and on it.
im not good with mechanics, can anyone shed some light on the situation.

sounds like the clutch master cylinder
check the fluid level ASAP!
also check the brake fluid level, the leak could be just spreading from the there

the clutch fluid level is ok, will check the break level tomorrow.

if its running down the clutch pedal its the clutch master cylinder.

time for a new one or rubbers.

Replacing a Defender clutch master cylinder . The price will vary on what make of cylinder you buy.

And this sounds rather bizarre - but if your going to the garage to get it done, get them to change the slave cylinder too.

I ignored this advice (well you would wouldnt you :) ) and sure enough, a week later the slave went.

You got to love em.
