i made up mounts and bolted 2 to the bulkhead
bulkhead acts like a huge sub when low bass kicks inn

hey i built two boxes, soundproofed them and fitted them behind the seats (depending on the seat, the boxes will have to be angled) i did only fit two speakers but im sure if you measured it right you could fit four, looks pretty neat keeps them out of the way and i use the top of the bulk head to keep the hi lift, also you can feel the bass going through the seat, dosnt dampen the sound as much as people might think and relitively cheap to do mine cost £5, also keeps them pretty clean when off road. on the other option you could fit two behind the seats and two on the back of the bulkhead and wire it to give them more bass to turn the back into more of a sub. hope this helps j

i did it the easy way  got the old stanley knife out and cut 4 circles in th eroof lining then screwed them in, easy as pie, then i connected them up to two tape players, one permenatly connected to the CB and one to the radio, im going to put a switch in so that i only need one tape player  could all go wrong and burst into flames
-
then i connected them up to two tape players,
what's a tape player granddad ? ;)

-
how much are they and where do you get them from ?
-
Think they may be LR but I spotted them on eblag
seen them @ £20 and from another supplier @ £67
do a search on 'Defender speaker'
-
would love them but dont think they would fit without cutting away or removing some panels due to mine being a county, so it has trim there.
may just do whats already been mentioned and put them in the roof lining.
-
roof lining is good but make sure you put a plastic bag on top of the to protect from the condensation dripping from the roof, not sure if it makes any differance but makes me feel better
