Title: Ladder Rack/bars

Has anyone ever fitted ladder bars to a TD5 with roof rails - if so where from and what size etc. I tried some from Halfords but they were too low and didn't pass over the existing roof rails.

Hi, you shouldn't have any problem with    THESE      (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Heavy-Duty-Roof-Bars-Land-Rover-Defender-130-Discovery_W0QQitemZ310050958956QQihZ021QQcategoryZ36799QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)being too low, and they seem to be a reasonable price for new bars, hope this helps.
