Take the pipe off and get it to a local engineering firm and get it drilled or better spark eroded out

Before you take it off...

I've used a set of Irwins click here  (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310032186444&mpt=1212353755453&tGUID=9dd393a71180a09c1895ca85ffa29952) and an a normal ratchet or even air impact gun in the past with success.

I use these quite a bit on Td5's - should work in a similar manor on a Tdi (though the bolts are bigger)

Let us know how you get on ,as I'll be doing mine soon and the bolts are a bit rusty and it looks like it will be tricky to do.

Ended up drilling out the bolts for the flange on the pipework, left the valve in place and all wired up etc.  Has still made vast improvement and this way no major surgery required on manifold.  :)
