All,
I am trying to get hold of a 1" socket with 3/8" drive. You can get them in complete sets but not on their own. The closest I have found is a 7/8" which is obviously no good.
Before anyone says, yes, I have googled but to no avail as of yet.
Does anyone know of a supplier of decent quality individual sockets please??

am probably stating the obvious but have you tried halfrauds?

Plenty of options!
To add to the above suggestions, any engineering supplies places will do single sockets for you (price will vary wildy depending on who they stock).
Good places to try (if you have any near you) would be Brocol, or any of the Apex Tool Group.
On-line there's places like Toolbay.biz etc and all the big names have a web presence.
Failing that, you could always borrow one! It doesn't cost much to post a socket and I'd trust you to return one. ;)
Cheers

Thanks very much for the advice gents, I knew that you'd come up trumps

Yup. Halfrauds are phasing out their single AF sockets. You can still get them in sets, but no longer on their own :(

Frank, they only show Metric on the site :(

Cheers Nick, but now I have the Series, I need to get my set of old Imperial sockets up to speed ;)

You could get a ½" drive socket with a reducer if that would work. :)

Hiya
Fatbaz - Stuart at Northants MC - had a whole load of sockets etc inc AFs that he was selling at last meet - I think that Big Rich had the lot.
Given that it was all ex-truck stuff, there may well have been some larger sizes in there...
Hope this helps
