hi ive got wheel movment when i jack the car up the wheel moves very slightly side to side and up and down so ive taken the free wheelling hub off and there is the spline end and a circlip with a washer thing that spins around but then under that are you sure that isnt a metal thing i can tighten the bearing wobble up as it looks a lot like my pajero set up glaggs :-k

Bearings aren't adjustable ( unless someone has fitted Vitara taper bearings at some stage.) Behind the washer, circlip etc is the bearing locking nut, which needs a special 'pin' socket to remove. The nut should be tightened to 145lbs torque so is tight!. I broke my pin socket the last time I removed the wheel hub. But if you get to this point tightening the nut won't take up the play in the bearing, the nut is also locked in place with a tab washer which has to be knocked back before you can loosen the nut.

is there any way to grease the bearing , there was a nipple on my pajero.
