Now some of the 'younger generation' on here will know where my 'screen-name' came from
I saw part of it at work whilst on a late tea-break & asked the wife to tape the rest, but have since noticed that it's repeated tomorrow evening
Monday 3rd
BBC 2
19:00 - 20:00
'Ray Mears Meets Les Hiddins (http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/proginfo/tv/wk23/sun.shtml#sun_walkabout)
I meant to watch it when I got home, but watched 'Johnny Cash. The Last Great American' (http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/listings/programme.shtml?day=today&service_id=4544&filename=20080601/20080601_2200_4544_29284_60) on BBC 4 instead.
I've seen it before, but it's a wonderful programme about an iconic man
It's a pity that one of the satellite/cable channels doesn't show all the Bush Tucker Man series again, including the inspiring 'Tales Of Adventure & Survival'
'Discovery Travel & Adventure' was the last channel to show them, but that particular one disappeared quite a while ago

Missed it :(

Les Hiddins outsurvives Saint Ray by a country mile in my book.

I thought of you, BTM, when it started :D Wondered if you would be sat glued to it!
I really enjoyed it. That's the kind of stuff that makes the TV licence worthwhile.

Steve,
I've just watched the 're-run', & it was enjoyable, but could have been a bit more in-depth.
Still...... it's nice to see the 2 of them get together after so many years
