as it says above how many miles do you do a day MT's. Wnat to change tyres but feel i need AT's do approx 80 miles per day and looking to travel to france during the summer

All of my miles are on insa turbo sahara. Thy are good offroad and onroad. TBH as an allrounder they make my old general grabber AT2s look shocking. They grip better on both wet and dry roads than the grabbers, and better obviously in any kind of muddy conditions!
Only thing I would say is that they do hum quite a lot at about 55 mph- but it is far from intrusive.

I have done 140 miles since Wednesday on M/T's........ I wouldn't want A/T's or I would have to change tyres to play out.
-
I do all my miles on mt's (colways) and I won't be swapping tyres for day to day as they work just fine on and off road once your used to the handleing..
Though I will have to change the make of mt... :'(
-
Like you say just need to get used to them, the Colway MT's i had were prettygood on and off road, but severe breaking in the wet on road took some getting used to.
-
On average about 60 miles a day on BFG MTs just replaced fronts after about 50,000 mile rears still have 15,000 on them put on same time as fronts, had ATs on before and there was so little difference between them on the road.

Ive not found that with my colway m/ts i was expecting the worse when i read a few posts but like i say i think these handle very well in the wet "maybe ist cos my disco dont go quick enough" and off road i was pretty impressed but alas soon be time to find a new set

bad tyre pressure and m/t cost more to run i must drop 4 mpg on m/t alone making 6ish to the gallon

took my big tyre of for trip to bulgaria as they have a heave rolling resistance
on the same hill as 70mph at the bottom i was at 60mph at the top with the big tyres and was doing 65mph with the normal tyres quite a differance
