The first one is standard , Best just to cover it up with chequer plate or trim it straight and bend a new lip (thats what I did)
the roof is bad ... To save the car you need to pull the screen and get the rust cut out and plated/filled/painted.
or drop the roof lining brush in rust killer and try to sand back,fill and paint the outside .though this will only last a certain amount of time before comming back.I know cause I have it too but not as bad :(

On my rear quarter, one side was much the same as yours. I got a pair of BIG washers and re bolted to the inner mud shield- thus holding it all together.
I have a few little patches on the leading edge of my roof, My disco is black so all I have done is cleaned them back to bear metal,, treated the patches with rust killer than used black hammerite to touch them in lol!!!

looks the same as mine at the rear arches, agree with cut it off and put a new lip in.
