now i'm no expert but is the amount of lead used on that rim a good advert for retreads
best be havin' a v8 to haul that lot about

If you have ever tried to ballance big off road tyres
you would see why there is so much lead on them..
Most tyres like that aren't ballanced as the rim isn't
big enough for all the weight to go on..
-
got my bfg's done ok-biggest prob was finding tyre place with machine big enough to take a 33
-
You could beat all that out flat and do a whole church roof!
On a more serious note, I doubt that you would be doing 100mph on a set of them anyway so probably not much to worry about.
-
OOOh yes, that's nasty. See why I'm not the biggest fan of remoulds?
Have you ever tried driving on Grizzlys, they make for a b****y awful road tyre anyway.
And don't you think there's so much lead there it's becoming counter-productive?
-
Never mind the lead. £100????? For ONE. Who's pant's does he think he's having down??
-
Price gone up then?
Don't they cost that new?
Now where have I seen a thread like this before, stuff more expensive on eBay than in real life?........
-
Price gone up then?
