Nope, youll be struggling to shift anything bigger than a moped for a few months - what with the price of fuel, all the uproar about the road tax etc etc etc
keep trying tho'
-
Also prices of 4x4's of all makes have been in freefall since xmas. Mates just about to pick up a P reg SWB frontera 2.0petrol 10months MOT £200
-
rubbish i have just sold my Defender 110 for £100 less than my asking price :D :D just hang in someone will buy it ;)
-
Yuo have to remember you are selling to a very narrow market, ie, someone who wants a Jimminy with mods. I'm sure if you are paitent you will get close to wht you are asking for but it's not like selling a bog standard Clio or Focus you are aiming at a specialist market. Good luck.
-
ill keep trying , but my tax is due and ive swapped the insurane over to the new car already.
-
Not a problem just Sorn the Jmminy and keep it off the road.
-
ill have to now or ill have to get insured for it again , anyway my new terrano is due for its mot in 2 months and ive found a load of rust undrneath on the cills and things so it might be a good idea to keep the jim for a while seeing as its already kitted out

It's all a bit up & down at the moment. My mate's just bought an R. reg 4.0 Cherokee with only 68k on the clock for £1000 but I sold my 1988 Defender 90 for £200 more than I paid for it 6 months ago  WEIRD.
-
Tell ya what i have just sold my defender and i cant find a car i like at all
-
just sold the caravan I bought in january and turned out the layout didnt work for me. Taken me since then to sell it and £300 in advertising and sold it for £400 less than I paid. So a loss of £700.
It is dead out there mate to sell anything big. Sorry for bad news.
-
Funnily enough, I've had people turn up at my door hoping to buy my cars, and they aren't even for sale!

Not just cars that aren't selling- been trying to sell my boat for months....

I have knocked 25,000 off the original asking price so far- still no takers!
I feel sorry for those trying sell houses at the moment- must be a bit grim seeing thousands slowly erroded off your home's value over the months.
The people responsible for the 'Credit Crunch' have a lot to answer for.
Of course Gordon Brown tripling the price of Marine Diesel in the last few months hasn't helped the sales of boats much either....
-
the autotrader website gets quite a few customers every day, even now, so i guess people are more likely to buy "summery" cars eg mx5's and whatnot.
-
Took me a while to sell the mitzi Pajero. I was getting a bit despondant, but then chappie comes along, bids me down a bit, but its gone. Hang in there.

Nice boat BTW, cost the same as my house!
I guess comments like this are at the bottom are going to scare off some buyers! Buy this boat for as little as £2,183.44 per month.
-
I'd have thought the price of marine diesel would not be an issue, if you've got £200,000 to blow on one of those you ain't going to worry about the cost of fuelling it.
-
did you win the boat??

Winchwoman and I tried selling cars a few years ago.
Did it all the correct way insurance trade plates etc
Didnt make a bean so pulled the plug, new cars are just too easy to buy on finance etc
I know dealers who are making £50 per car profit its just mad.
The problem with yours is its a bit special but this is also an advantage as any one who wants a modded one wont find many.
Just hang in there it will sell.
Keep it insured for theft just in case and it wont cost much
