I went out for a walk today, through the dunes & along the beach on the Merseyside coast.
Whilst wandering through the dunes I came across a large group of Western Bog Orchids.
Just thought I'd share these photos with you as I've never seen so many in one place:

I seem to be spending far too much time walking at the moment.
What with the price of fuel & eight months unemployed. :x
I have to get out of the house as I'm going stir crazy & there's only so much daytime television I can put up with.
Mind you, I had a change today as I had to do a favour for my mate. Last night, at our Series One Club meeting, his Overfinch Range Rover decided that the pub car park was a good place to hemorrhage (sp) it's oil everywhere. There were plenty of jokes involving a comparison with the Exon Valdiz. (well we all like to laugh at others mis-fortune)
I had to give him a lift home. I went back this morning & ended up having to replace the split/damaged oil filter. Oh...& appologise to the Pub Landlord about the oil slick in his car park.
