Title: rebel 4x4 unbranded steering guard

been looking at some stuff for the landy and found the rebel 4x4 site. they have a unbranded steering guard for sale for 39 pound, are these good qulaity and worth the dosh.

I have a branded steel galvy one, had it nearly 4 years and its fine.  I would buy h/d steering bars instead tho'.

I agree. Bought steering guard first. Its pretty redundant now. Oh well, belt and braces! :twisted:

One thing to be aware of with steering guards is the drag link which sticks down behind the axle. The common wedge type steering guards which goes in front of the axle don't provide any protection for this.

True........Tis why I bought a Southdown type axle guard from Extremeteam.
