Hi Ian

am i right that it can be removed with positive effects?

No cat theft and performance.

The ECU is not wired to it, is it?

Yes...  less turbo lag due to reduced exhaust back pressure.

ECU doesn't know if it's there or not....

no offence meant but obviously not chipped to its full potential even at stage 1 if its been remapped for the road, or its got something not quite right.

Hi Alex,

I have not got one yet as am currently sitting in a nice campsite in Austria (@ 36 degrees C) on my way down to Croatia for some off roading.

It will be some thing i do when i get back, along with a chat with Porny about some power release, but all this i dependent on how much trip costs, and if i break any thing whilst away.
