Title: high range popping out

hi everyone, ive just bought my 3rd landie but its my first series and i really dont know much about them, so plenty of reading in the days to come for me.
on the journey home the truck jumped out of high ratio several times mainly when slowing down for corners ect - any ideas?????

 Take the gaiter off the high/low lever, and check that it has full travel. It sounds as though it isn't going fully into high range, ie, OK under load, but flicks out on the over run.
 Possible causes. Could be that the lever is slightly bent, or that there is a load of crud on top of the box restricting full travel.

on top of the transfer box there's a brass bolt head, undo this and check the spring and detent inside.
