Title: Closer to the fraternity.
Post by: tenpolequint on June 26, 2008, 23:24:02
I have not posted on here for awhile but it looked like I was never going to get a 4X4. But I now have an old '93 Frontera, 3 door and I love it. I never went out looking for a frontera, I think the 5 door look ugly but the wife took a shine to this and after having very little success green laning in my Rover 600 -too long and no ground clearance - so I swapped it for this Vauxhall Frontera.  This is my first 4X4 and its great fun. Now rough tracks can be ignored. Obviously its no tractor like land rover but it will do my needs.

oh if you intend to give it a lift the effects are fantastic especially with 31" tyres, use OME springs as others sag, i can send you details if you like

Its a '93 so the rear has leaf spring. I dont know if I will bother raising it at the moment. Thanks though, but any good links for Frontera parts would be good for future use. Cheers.
