is tension bearing and 2 wheel bearings easy to do and cheap
-
2 wheel bearings = £40-50 in parts (if you buy good quality gear, can be cheaper if you buy cheap crap bearings) and an afternoons work, only special tool you need is a 52mm socket.
Aux belt tensioner bearing... £4 in parts if you buy a bearing from Ebay, a bit of a [!Expletive Deleted!] to fit, as the circlips are hard to get out, but its only about an hour or so's work.

thx mate is that i found a disco for sale r reg tdi for 1k with those probs

if you can't be bothered changing the belt tensioner bearing you can get a whole new tensioner assembly for about £45ish, i think the tensioner assembly only has 1 bolt holding it on. that way its only a 2 minute fix...
if you're not sure about doing the wheel bearings there is a step-by-step guide on www.LR4x4.com, its not that hard to do.... my only advice would be use quality components, not Britpart.

cool cheers buddy will use that guide as i a novice at it lol

wheel bearings are easy enough to do as long as the iner race hasnt joined itself to the stub axle then it can be a pain slow and gentle with the grinder look for the blue line forming in the steel means your almost through the bearing case stop and chisel the edge at the weak point to crack it job done
also i recomend timkin bearings high quality
