Title: Any advice on a 200TDi Disco engine into a Defender
Post by: thompjas on June 27, 2008, 18:07:12
Hi,

Hopefully one or two of you out there have put a Disco 200TDi engine into a Defender.

I have a 200TDi Disco complete that has been offered to me at a silly to refuse price, so now I am looking at changing my 2.5NAD into a 200TDi vehicle.

I am sure that there are a few threads on here on how to do it, How easy is it really ?, what extras do I need to get ready before the big swap ?, what issues can I expect to come across ??

Any advice would be grateful

Thanks for the reply, if and when you have a moment could you take a few pictures of your 200tdi's layout in the defender. Wouldn't mine seeing what it now looks like, how the pipes are routed etc etc.
will pm my email address to you

I was going to do this but sold the engine instead. Try out this link I think it will have the info you need.
