Title: transfer case oil on a vitara

hi all,

     just removed front prop to  renew uj on my vitara and lost all the oil out the transfer case went to remove the plug to top it back up and cannot get it out now stuck with no oil in box !!!!! can any suggest how i can top it up again ????

  can i get oil in if i remove transfer gear lever?

or can i top it up if i remover speedo cable from casing ?

this is quite urgent as i need car for Monday for work and do not want to run it with no oil in transfer case.

yes you can top up t-case using the lever out option

  thanks anyway done now just need to sort plug sometime!!! :D :D
