Title: will 265/85 R16 fit a standard defender 90

been offered a set of tyres in this size at a decent size.
just wondering if these tyres will fit my defender without modifications.
if it wont, what mods are required to make them fit?

Never heard of a 265/85....  You sure they aren't 265/75 or 255/85?

this is mine with 255 85 16's on, plus a 2inch lift.

Might look a tad large without a lift - but do-able.9

hmm, my bank doesnt like the sound of BF goodrich :(
being a student i cant justify over 100 a tyre.
do u know any decent remoulds in this size, only seem to be able to find decent remoulds in 265 75 r16s
