Title: Rear recovery points, lack off

Hello all

Is it possible to use the mounting points in the rear cross member for attaching recovery points?

usual Lower down attachment area is US......  at the moment..... to lazy to fix etc. etc. etc. :oops:

i would say yes u can . think ive seen towbars on there b4 now. or m12 bolts with hook ring recovery point. make sure its solid under there  :lol:

Thanks, Not doubting you but can anyone else confirm/

I will probably use 5 or 10mm plate on both sides of cross member then mount recovery ring on this.  Nato hitch would be nice  8-[

If you mean the two points marked in my photo, then yes, no problem. I've seen 2 Jate rings put through these holes and used for recovery.

I made up a u - shaped piece of 8mm steel and mounted a swivel shackle on the bottom of the u and the two sides ar ebolted top and bottom to the rear crossmember inside the rear bumper.
