i am at the point of putting the shocks on but haveing probs with the poly bush that goes in the top and making it fit as when we try we cant get the spacer and nut on ????? tips plz then i can get on with getting the engine in and bulk head and so on and on and on

dont fit the polys, they have a nasty habbit it opeing up the top eyes

Are the polybushes deflex per chance? :roll:
Certainly don't fit the those bushes to the top of the rear dampers. Even if they were the right size to start with they are still so blasted stiff they could still rip the eye of the damper anyway.
A picture speaks a thousand words, this one starts with 'deflex', followed 'middle of no where' and then by 995 words that arn't appropriate for this forum.

I've had much better experiance with genuine Polybush bushes and sticking the 2 makes side by side you quickly realise how nasty the deflex bushes are.

yep they big orange ones found some one local on ebay doing 4x4 stuff so get normal set of him or local factors then i can get on with putting engine in next

Fit the original rubber bushes
They are a lot better than any of the poly type
They help the shox move on the mounts as they should

well got some from landy show today how the hell do you get them into the shock as they are lager diameter than the shock top
