Title: Four Hundred and Fifty Quid!
Post by: Mark_Solesbury on July 16, 2008, 22:23:58
I cant believe that...

Sureterm want £452 to insure my 90 for a year.. Im 26 now and i though it was supposed to go down the older you get!

There must be someone cheaper out there.

Its only my 'Second Car' and gets used a few times a month.

If i cant get it any cheaper than that then its gonna have to go!

Anyone else got any phone numbers of places to try?

I'm with sureterm, I'm £267 fully comp with all my mods. I'm 35 with 10 years N/C bonus.

Try Lancaster, they were the cheapest i could find although when i did my rebuild and mods they couldn't insure me.

Mark.
if it only gets used a 'few times per month', why not ask about a Limited Mileage Policy.

I know when we were insuring the XKR, we were offered a choice of varying mileages, in return for a lower premium.
Alternatively, by 'upping' your Excess, you ought to be able to lower the premium

Yours, smugly paying £206 F/C for the 110, & £547 F/C for the XKR
