Title: Dear Diary
Post by: beast5680 on July 29, 2008, 16:32:25
Tuesday July 29th

The wife has been in Iceland for 7 days now , we,re running low on supplies and i fear one of us may have to make the journey to the corner shop :-k I may have to send the boy,he,s the youngest so expendable. I cant understand why tesco havent delivered this week :? normally they turn up and drop off bags of food but  alas not this week. is the fact the wife,s away a coincidence???
Made a startling discovery today if your squeamish look away now, there is no such thing as the washing and ironing fairies   my clothes have remained in the same place now for four days instead of disappearing and then reappearing in my wardrobe ready to wear :-., i can only assume from this that my wife has lied to me all these years
I dont know if in my weakened state i will be able to make another entry

tata for now

In similar situations I have found that a place called Aldi has edible food. Particularly sausage rolls and fresh pasta. In the case of the local one it also enables you to avoid Somerfield...

Put it this way, the Somerfield in Hot Fuzz could easily have been my local branch!

What is ironing anyway? I just hang stuff up wet and the creases aren't there when it dries.

The wife has been in Iceland for 7 days now ....

It never takes my wife 7 days to do the shopping at Iceland.... maybe the freezer section at Tesco would have been quicker :-. ;)

Simple solution to this problem, get yourself a substitute wife!!!

They do it in schools when teachers go away places, so why not have one for the home????
