Anyone here know whats the best bait or floats etc to do coarse fishing i only just started and have no idea thx
-
course - you either float or ledger fish really, ledger is when u have big weight (that holds bait too) holding your set up on the lake bottom and ur hook is only a lil way away with tasty bait, this set up attracts lots of fish as lots of food in small area n they suck up all food n ur hook!
sweetcorn, boilies, maggots, lucheon meat, depends what most people use where u fish really.

are you fishing rod or pole?
either way i would start with a heavy float 3BB maybe, give urself a chance to cast easy and conrtol better etc,
where you going to have ago? river?

My father in law swears by White Stilton with Apricots... reckons it's all it's fit for!

All realy depends on what your fishing for where your fishing and what your using :) i normaly have a little travel rod with me an a small tackle box so i can wip dinner out of the sea when i happen to be close to it :)
http://www.ukrivers.net/fishing.html good little website with lots of links an things for you to look at should be everything you need to get started there :)

One of the lads at work brought in 31 mackrel for us all to share yesterday , :D
he caught the lot in 2 hours off Angelsey
but one of the managers took them all home with him ******
Thinking of getting a set up as I live next to a lake (have done for 18 years) and have never bothered having a go so I'm watching closely :D :D
