Title: can any1 help me please i need your knowledge?!?!?!

hi all i am looking to buy a suzuki swift gti engine out of an older model, but what i really wanted to know is can i convert the engine to have a carburettor instead of injection i would like less electrics as possible, is this possible? if it is will the engine still put out the same power as what it did with the injection? please let me know people i need your help :)

I wouldn't bother. Look into waterproofing the electronics. Put the ECU in the cab. A mate runs a racer with a EFi Ford Serria engine in it and that is fine.

You won't get the same flat torque curve with a carb'd engine as you will with a fuel injected one. Also carbs are more prone to fuel mixture problems on rough ground or steep slopes.

As I say spend your time looking at waterproofing :)

Just stick a Peugeot or Izuzu Diesel in it and a snorkle
