Quick question ??

Does your clutch pedal have any free play at top (ie in rest position as you start to depress it)

thanks for that, after a bit of digging around found the culprit to be the bolt that connects the pedal to the master cylinder push rod,

Or rather the half a bolt ;)

I have to spray mine with slippy stuff weekly as it squeeks and drives me mad  it also has a bit of play in it...

all vehicles are meant to have a bit of free play in the pedal, just not too much! should be in landy books how much to set it at!
