The ones i've heard of fasten the bucket seat to a piece of chequer plate then fasten that to the standard Discovery seat mount.

.....shut up steve

it is 2mm thick mild steel and it doesnt flex atall. i would have used alli but only becasue if its corrosion resistance! you can get away with 2mm and just give it a soaking in hammerite, itll be fine.

well i had an old bucket seat in the garage which i fitted just to see what it would be like an its a [!Expletive Deleted!] getting in an out of the seat with the steering wheel! so was thinking of getting some sporty electric seats with sub frames which i can fit in the same way. What do you lot think will it work?

Cheers

my monicos are hard to get in and out of especially as im only 5'10", you got to slide the seat all the way back to get in and out.
