Ok as per previous threads i have no rear recovery points....
This is what i am going to do, i have 100x100x5mm thick box section, 250mm long. i am going to cut one side off to create a 'U' section. I will then drill the 'U'channel to suit the upper bolt holes in the cross member for the tow bar, will then use one of these as a recovery point.....

swivel recovery points
Rear cross member is approx 80mm high so 'U' section will need packing out, was gonna use some extra nuts and and to reinforce the M12 bolts i was gonna use some extra plate i have various bits of 50x5mm
i know it is not perfect but opinions would be appreciated, i have no access to welding equipment and material is very limited
Criticise, congratulate your thoughts would be appreciated. I have no other choice at moment

Sounds a lot of hassle when you could fit a couple of Jate rings...........

The points for placing jate rings are no longer usable :'( , i do normally use Jate rings front and rear

So what's bolted onto the tow bar mounts then?
-
im gonna use d rings on the towbar when i find some strong enough. be ideal for a mount to use tow bar with i think :-k

They plates have rusted thru and the bolts for the old towbar are rusted in solid, heads came of
and had to cut the nut & washers off to get towbar off which was rotten thru :(
only accesable area for attachment is the upper mounting points for towbar

It is possible to get the old bolts out and get it rewelded, a decent drill and drill bit is all that is needed, had to do it on both my Discoverys and several Range Rovers.
