I am possibly going to be putting some 2" rear shock absorber droppers with some cranked arms and removing the rear arb to get a bit more flex. Do i need to replace the line with a longer one or would it be ok as is because im not lifting the suspension.
I am also thinking about making some re location cones for the back, has anyone got any photos of some they have made?

On the rear of mine I relocated the top mount for the brake flex, by making a simple plate with a couple of holes in it. the plate was bolted through one hole to the origional mounting holes and the brake line now clamps through the other hole. There was more than enough flexibility in the ridgid brake line to allo the the appriximate 2" movement.
My relocation cones are just a few lengths of bar (6 or 8mm diameter IIRC) welded to the lower spring seat, making a cone. at the top of the spring I clamped the spring to the chassis using 2 lengths of flat with a pair of holes in them and a couple of bolts+nuts. If you do this then my cones were perhaps a little tall and for bottom dislocation a shorter cone would be better. I also made them so I could still fit clamps to bottom of the springs as well as the top in case I get round to doing an RTV where dislocation is not allowed.

Where did the shock mounts come from?

Are those shock mounts part of the rough country 11inch travel shock kits? Also what are the shocks like as I looking to get some for mine?

The Gwyn Lewis challenge mounts, supplied by Llama4x4 in kit form ie. only tack welded, not galvanised and half the price.
