Title: Stainless door boltes etc - sizes?
Post by: stuntman on August 14, 2008, 08:58:46
Hello everyone, does anyone know the correct sizes of the door hinge bolts front and back for a 110 CSW?

I just really begrudge paying about twenty odd quid for them, when I can buy them for pennies.

To be honest I'll even try to put some 'cost' kits together to help others out aswell.

I've got a door hinge to go on so have some bolts lying about at the moment.

Thread is slightly bigger than M8 but afraid I can't help exactly as all I know is I can't get an M8 bolt on :(

2 types of bolt with length of thread 74 mm and length of thread 30 mm plus 3 mm of taper.

Std ones are unf threadform I think they are 3/8  but replacement M8 screws will do the job just as well.

M8 in TD5, 3/8 in pre TD5.

When you buy SS Bolt kits they come with new captive nuts to change them over, I might still have mine if your intrested.
