Post by: stewy1984 on August 14, 2008, 18:57:57
Have just recived a set of 4, i ordered +5 from my local land rover place, but they are only +4.

checked explorer pro comp website and they seem to only list upto +4 now. i was always sure they did upto +5

Does anybody know the score?

Procomp dampers come in a wide range of universal sizes up to around a +14" exteneded length. Its just a matter of welding the correct ends onto the desiered length of damper.

It may be you local place only had stock of +4" dampers, have you rang them up to confirm what they sent you. I've had it before where a 4x4 store sold be one thing with the correct part number on the box only to find the wrong size of part in the box.

Well this is the other way around. wrong size on the box, but right part in the box or so they say.  :-k
