Hi there could anyone advise if my L reg Disco chassis Number LA has 24 spline diffs as i need to replace a cv but dont really want to strip it down to find out then have to put it back together and wait for the part.
Thanks Greedy.

If it's a 300 then it's 24 spline diff, but does that make any differnece to the CV?
if you have the chassi number to hand when you order you'll be ok, try Devon 4x4.

Hi its a very late 200 tdi ?

Uhm, I'm not sure there is any way to tell then. It's probably 10 spline. But the chassis number should correspond to the CV part number as I don't think they were any different, IIRC :-k

pull the rear shaft out and take a punt that both axle's are original to the car.

my 200 disco is k reg but with 24 splines, check the chassis number reg don't help much as i found out, got the parts only to strip it down and find the parts didn't fit :'(
