Driving home last night stopped for fuel. When I left the fuel station I only had half a clutch pedal. Drove the 5ish miles home and by that time virtually no pedal at all. It just goes down and stays there, have to flick it back up with me foot.
Sound like master cylinder to you guys?

possible but most likly slave cylinder of pivot pin pushed through the fork, they are the most common faults

Sounds like it could be the spring inside the master cylinder. When you flick it bnack up, does it stay up? does the clutch then work properly?

If the clutch fork had punched through, then the pedal would up and rock solid.
Clamp the clutch flexi hose with a pair of vice grips (not too hard though or you'll damage it). Try the pedal again, and if it's solid, then the master is ok, and the slave is the problem. Slave cylinders usually leak, so you will have some fluid loss, which will be leaking out of the wading plug hole in the flywheel housing. Initially - as the seal in the slave fails - it may suck air in when you release the pedal which will give you a spongy pedal and repeated pumping of it will enable you to still use the clutch.

Yes the pedal stays up when flicked back up, but when pushed again goes straight to floor. no pressure at all.
No leaks from wading plug hole or down pedal.
