Title: Fitting trailer jockey wheel
Post by: carbore on August 29, 2008, 19:28:47
I have a trailer with no jockey wheel, picked up a wheel/pole today for a good price of the right width but.

My trailer has 2 place to it a wheel, one cast into the hitch (Bradley)

The other bolted to the side, currently with a post in it.

Id like to put my wheel in the central casted hole, but it needs to be disassembled.  Do you just unscrew them all the way, or will I end up in a mess of springs/circlips etc. If its no use ill just fit ithe wheel where the post is.

Any help appreciated.

Jack the trailer front high, unscrew the jockey wheel so it comes apart and feed it up then put the top on.

Saves a lot of effort.
