Massive misfires when cold, if i leave her standing ( to warm up )
Its a massive misfire every min of so, like a complete electrical cut out ( not just a 1 cylinder misfires ) its like a complete failure for 0.5 of a second
Once shes warm everything is OK
Is the ECU on the way out ?
Has anyone else had this problem ?
She starts fine, even left for a month - she fiers up 1st time :)

Which engine/EFi system etc?
-
Sorry,
Its the EFI system.
It now seems to be revving very high at cold.
Somethings a bit strange.

if need an ecu i have got one
-
Thanks for that :( :'(

I would change the temperature sensor. It's cheap and easy and may well be the problem.
Let me know if you want the ECU testing. I maybe able to help.

Thanks Andy ill keep everyone informed over this.
AS the idle now seems to be rather high, its no longer missfireing,, self heal ?? who knows ?

I cleaned up my solenoid and this seemed to cure the problem for me. I also had a secondard problem of very occasionally it would run like a total pig for a bit, but this seems to be dizzy related as a quick blast of WD40 into the dizzy soon sorts it.

Funny thing, it hasnt done it since i posted this thread.
Very strainge.
Hey it passed the MOT today ! Flying colours, even commented on how good the brakes were :)
