the more grip your tyres have and the more you floor  it, the more likely you are to pop a diff (sometimes anyway)  my mate has 35" simex tyres, ( the ones like the good old insa special tracks, and theres a few hills near us that hes tried doing in extreame syle and has done 12 diffs in just under a year most  of them back and hes done one ARB aswell ,

at that rate i think i would spend the cash on uprated parts. Gotta be cheaper in the long run.

Until you break them multiple times and then the cost far outweighs getting a decent set of diffs...

Get some ARB's...go on you know you want to!

theres a few people doing challenge events on 35's & 37s with the right uprated bits that can cope with a "drive it like its stolen mentality", mine on 35s gets regularly driven this way but there is a fine line u have to learn as to when to stop & winch & when 1 more go will do

not wanting to temp fate, but I've only managed to "blow" two rear diffs in the last year!

The only problem was, the last time I had diff trouble, I broke a half shaft and totally destroyed the Detroit locker in the rear ........ there, hope that's made you feel better now mate
